Corporate Status

LIFEWORKS JACKSONVILLE, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non profit, tax-exempt corporation, incorporated in 2000 as Lifestream Jacksonville, Inc. by graduates of LIFESTREAM Learning Systems Seminars who wanted to share their experience with others and make a difference in their community.  The name was changed to LIFEWORKS JACKSONVILLE, Inc. in January, 2004.

LIFESTREAM Seminars have been presented throughout the country since 1973 under a variety of management teams. Revitalized for the 21st Century, the seminars provide an opportunity for individuals to attain and apply tools for personal and professional success.

Organizational Structure

LIFEWORKS JACKSONVILLE, Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors with the help of an Advisory Board. The president is elected by the Board. A City Director is appointed by the Board and reports to the president to administer the assigned business operations of the organization.

Board members are graduates of the BASIC and ADVANCED Seminars, and are responsible for establishing the vision, goals, and policies of the organization. Each Board member serves a two-year term. Each Board member serves as a liaison to an Advisory Board committee. The Advisory Board is comprised of volunteers who focus their time and talents in five committees: Operations, Fundraising, Technology, Community Service, and Marketing and Enrollment.
