Awards & Honors
LIFEWORKS Jacksonville Named
Outstanding Service Organization
On Thursday, April 1, 2004, the Duval County
Chapter
of
the Council for Exceptional Children held their annual awards banquet
at Queens Harbor Country Club. During the course of the evening they
honored LIFEWORKS Jacksonville as the outstanding Service Organization
for 2003-04. They recognized the hard work and dedication of our
volunteers who truly make a difference in the children's lives at S. P.
Livingston Elementary School.
I want to personally
express my thanks for your love and persistence in making my children's
lives more worthwhile. You have become a beacon in an often dark land
where nurturing comes disguised as a slap or rebuke. You have shown our
children a kindness and acceptance they don't always experience.
Let me express my
heartfelt thanks to you. I am proud that the CEC Recognized your
efforts.
