It's tough enough being a parent
today,
Imagine being a teenager!!!
As rewarding as rearing a child can be, many parents
remark that the teenage years are more of a challenge than a reward.
During these challenging times with your teen, there may be stress and
anxiety in your relationship and periods of separation, isolation and
confusion.
This is a vastly different world today, yet some of
the issues we face remain the same
Trust
- Responsibility - Understanding - Focus
The Experience
An interactive, hands-on process where teens and parents
come to know themselves and each other, develop strategies for success
and enhance communicate skills. The class is structured to deal with
relevant issues for teens and peers.
Designed for teens ages 13-17, Lifestream offers,
through DYNAMIC EXPERIENCE and exercises, and sharing, an active
teaching process involving experiential learning that can aid you and
your teen in becoming better communicators. If your teenager is
interested in learning more about who they are... If they are ready to
start making meaningful choices... If they are desiring greater
self-confidence, trust and a sense of belonging... Then we have a
perfect opportunity for them to start making their life work!
We have created a safe and supportive environment to
explore concepts like:
- TRUST
- RESPONSIBILITY
- FORGIVENESS
- FORGIVENESS
- SHARING
- ACCEPTANCE
We will also present tools to improve:
- COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
- CONFIDENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM
Since the class is experiential and the concepts
presented will build on one another, it will be necessary for you and
your teen to attend both days. Some segments of the seminar will be
conducted in a joint forum with both the teens and their
parent/guardian, while other times the teens and adults will be in
separate rooms engaged in different activities.
It's hard to anticipate where every decision will lead.
Enrolling your teenager in the TEEN BASIC Seminar is certainly a step
towards building and strengthening their ability to make life work; and
your $150 investment will prove to be a positive return for your
family's future! Don't delay.
